I enjoy this app. there are a few things i found to be tedious. 1. the selection option. long pressing multiple notes are just daunting and slows the process. 2. there is no way to remove instruments. (or it's hard to find.) 3. the page view is annoying. (i want the app to flip so i don't constrain my charger when i have it plugged in.) i hate how no apps are helpful for those of us who don't want to continue destroying the rainforests. -_- the only redeeming quality is that it autosaves.
The 3rd & 5th both flattened in a chord and when after going to home screen and reopened it the flats overlapping became some unknown sign the 5th note moved down. Also another chord containing 4th & 5th notes, the 5th moved down showing 2 notes in 4th position with a natural sign before them. I shall be thankful if this problem can be fixed. Thank you.
Range selection for deleting, copy, cut, paste rarely works. Editing is awkard: Cannot insert or shorten notes because bar fills up and no way to shuffle following notes into a next bar. Currently delete entire sheet back to note for edit. Holding a note for a long press seldom works and holding a rest almost never works. Work gets lost as there is a tendancy for the composition to revert to a previous version.
So far this app does it's job for me. However, is there any way to adjust the font size or color of the notes aside from light blue? Light blue is fine on pdf, but not so much on a printed copy. Thanks
Works well and it is a true pleasure to use, there are a few bugs here and there and it is missing some advanced features, but I've been speaking to the developers and they do have an ongoing TODO list with them, so something to keep an eye on. Best and nicest score app to work with for Android IMHO, followed by Maestro.
This app keeps improving and the developers are pretty good at replying to emails (in my experience). I use it a lot for choral music and it does most of the things I want. No tempo changes mid-score at the moment and occasionally there are bugs but I think it is very good. Recent upgrade (Dec 2016) to the way scores are saved and loaded is a big improvement.
Last but not least, don't forget about the staccatos + rip chords (you know what I mean?) and then it would be 5 stars. 🌟😃 And 2nd intervals are not supposed to hover on each other. One note is supposed to be on the other side of the stem and one note over the other side, future realese.
So close, BUT... 1. spent hours writing, saving, then the tool would state that the file was not created by Fast Score and would not open the song: start over. 2. write music, save the file, close it and reopen it later but it does not match what I wrote: start over. 3. spent hours writing, app crash: start over. It does so much, and seems great, but I've literally thrown away over 10 hours of writing. I so wish it was reliable.
Best music notation app available for Android and regular updates continue to bring useful new features. There's also a free version so you can test drive it first but pro is worth the modest price. An easy 5-stars.
Good but can you add snare drum? I love the sound!
